(1)春季。氣候溫和，飼料豐厚，公兔性欲旺盛，母兔配種受胎率高，產仔數多，是長毛兔配種繁衍的*時節。3～5月份母兔發情率高達80％～85％，情期配種受胎率為85％～90％，均勻每窩產仔數達7～8只，所以，普通兔場應力爭春季能配上2胎。

(1) spring. With mild climate, abundant feed, strong sexual desire of male rabbits, high fertility rate of female rabbits and large number of offspring, it is the * season of breeding and reproduction of long-haired rabbits. From March to May, the estrus rate of female rabbits was as high as 80%-85%, the conception rate of mating during estrus was 85%-90%, and the number of litters per litter was 7-8. (2)夏季。氣候酷熱，特別是南方各省，高溫多濕，兔食欲減退，體質衰弱，公兔常有夏季不育現象，故配種受胎率低，產仔數少。6～8月份母兔發情率為20％～40％，受胎率為10％～30％，每窩產仔數僅2～5只。即便產仔，因哺乳母兔天熱減食，泌乳量少，仔兔衰弱多病，成活率很低。但如母兔體質強健，又有遮蔭防暑條件，仍可恰當布置配種繁衍。

(2) summer. The climate is extremely hot, especially in the southern provinces, where the temperature is high and humid, the appetite of the rabbits decreases, the constitution weakens, and the male rabbits are often sterile in summer. Therefore, the fertility rate of breeding is low and the number of litters is small.
