1、癥狀：病兔食欲減退或廢絕，腸音減弱或消失，初期排出的糞球少而堅硬，以后則排糞停止。有的兔頭頸彎曲，俯視腹部或肛門，表現(xiàn)出排糞遲滯，腸管充滿，當腸管阻塞而產(chǎn)生過量氣體時，則有“肚脹”現(xiàn)象。嚴重時糞粒外包有一層白色膠樣的物質(zhì)，尿少而色深（多為棕紅色），觸摸腹部時，可感到大腸內(nèi)聚積多量的干硬糞粒。

2、防治措施：要精粗飼料合理搭配，并供給充足的飲水和青綠多汁的飼料及含纖維較多的飼料。加強運動，一旦發(fā)現(xiàn)便秘，應及時給予，切勿拖延其病情。時可采用：

（７）對頑固性難以的病例，可肌肉注射硫酸新諾明，成年兔的用量為０·３毫克，幼兔減半，注射后２０分鐘左右即可排出大量干硬的小糞粒，一般１—２次可愈，注射后應觀察１０—２０分鐘，若發(fā)現(xiàn)有呼吸困難、肌肉震顫、流涎和出汗的癥狀，可及時肌注適量的阿托品解救。

（８）雙醋酚酊，成年兔每次５毫克，幼兔減半，內(nèi)服，每日３次，便秘消失后應立即停藥。
