成兔一般是一個(gè)兔子一個(gè)籠子，這樣管理起來(lái)會(huì)比較方便，而且長(zhǎng)毛兔的體型比普通的兔子要大很多，所以也能讓它們有充足的空間進(jìn)行自由活動(dòng)。但幼兔則需要在養(yǎng)殖的過(guò)程中進(jìn)行分籠管理，并注意母兔和公兔要分開(kāi)飼養(yǎng)。只需要喂養(yǎng)三次，分別是早中晚各一次。白天主要是以草料為主，而晚上則以精料為主。飼養(yǎng)中需要注意每天都要按時(shí)喂水。
